1989年春、ニコンの35㎜カメラ1台にモノクロフイルムのみを詰め北米の旅に出た。
As you are「大丈夫、そのままでいてほしい」と思う瞬間に出会う事がある。
32年程前（30歳）に捉えた2日間の写真達、そこで出会った瞬間を5本のフイルムに収めた。その人たちやモノたちを当時焼き付けたプリントそのままを表現した写真展示。モノクロ写真のトーンの濃淡で当時のニューヨーク・マンハッタンを少しでもその時を感じ、伝わるなら幸いに思う。
’89 New York 「As you are」Keisuke Takao Photo Exhibition
In the spring of 1989, I set a monochrome film in my Nikon 35mm camera, and embarked on a journey to North America. There, I had encountered with multiple “As you are” (“Please, stay the way you are”) moments. Thirty-two years ago, it was (I was thirty years old then). In a period of two days, five films of photos were taken. In this new exhibition, I want to share “people” and “things” in their natural moments in original print. Hope you will enjoy the atmosphere of Manhattan, New York in 1989 in my tone of grey.
